The Future of the ICF
The original operating procedure of the ICF changed in July 2005. As COURTENAY CONFERENCES, we are now responsible for servicing the ICF to do:

· We hold a large range of intellectual capital which can be used in work-related learning projects in schools and colleges. This includes UNISIMII.

. We have agreed to allow Challenge Training Partners (CTP), a new organisation headed up by Andy Clayton and Andy Dixon, to use these resources under annual review. The ICF retains the copyright on this material.

· By the use of a newsletter and the website of the ICF we put existing member schools and colleges in touch with Challenge Training Partners - please contact Andy Clayton, 53 Whalley Road, Wilpshire, Blackburn, Lancs BB1 9LQ. Tel: 01254 246373. email: andrew.d.clayton@virgin.net

· Our main role is to old and impart information about work-related learning - particularly by the use of 1-3 events. We are then willing to advise schools and colleges how best to use resources and outside agencies to meet curriculum requirements. Courtenay is responsible for the management of the ICF website (www.icf.org.uk) and, to assist us in this role, this web-site will carry links to other organisations in this field, particularly of course the CTP.

· The ICF has recently ceased to be a membership organisation and a registered charity to enable us to put our financial reserves into The Asrkwright |SCholarships Trust. Some previous members of the ICF have agreed to help me to mentor the winners of the ICF scholarships. We plan to encourage schools to investigate ways to continue the original ICF philosophy by including linked events in their curriculum.

· The trustees of the ICF have now authorised me to make sure that our new arrangements with Arkwright work efficiently and effectively over the next three years. I will do this in a personal capacity using my home as the office for COURTENAY CONFERENCES.
